Casting for Kids 2026

Get ready for one of the nation’s biggest and most exciting FREE kids fishing tournaments at Paintsville Lake State Park.

Casting with Kids 2026 returns June 5–6 for two unforgettable days filled with fishing, prizes, giveaways, family fun, and BIG smiles.

This incredible community event welcomes kids of all ages for a weekend focused on outdoor fun, encouragement, and making lifelong memories on the water.

We’re also honored to welcome special guest Matt Robertson.

Friday, June 5 — Evening to Shine

A special evening dedicated to children with special needs.

🕔 Sign-ups begin at 5:00 PM
🎣 Official tournament begins at 6:00 PM

Every child participating will receive:

Saturday, June 6 — Main Tournament Day

Kylie’s Kids Kayak Event

🕡 Registration: 6:30 AM
🎣 Tournament: 7:00 AM – Noon
👦 Ages 13–18

🏆 First Place Prize: New Jackson Kayak ($3,000 value)
💵 Cash prizes awarded for 2nd–5th place

Casting with Kids Main Event

🕢 Registration begins: 7:30 AM
🎣 Official start: 9:30 AM
👧 Ages 4–12

Prizes awarded in each age group:
4–5 • 6–7 • 8–9 • 10 • 11 • 12
